Can State Housing Market Survive End Of Federal Assistance?
     


Spring is bringing the usual hope for the housing market in Greater Hartford. Historically low mortgage rates, more affordable prices and a federal tax credit aimed at first-time home buyers have combined to end the long slide in sales and prices.
