Right I am a Cyprus home owner (or I am about to be when my proeprty completes in the summer). I would like a discussion group to share and discuss services and products that will help each other, particularly those looking to rent their properties to earn an income - like me!!! I am looking for ideas and ways to promote my property so any advice from anyone is very much appreciated. So far I have the following discounts and promos that I have found from other forums/websites:

holidaylettings.co. uk Quote code 45755 to get an extra 3 months free advertising when booking 12 months of advertising. Apparently very good website for holidayhomeowners.

holidaysitebuiler are offering £20 off if you quote 'EOW'

Oh and Intasure are apparently a good company to insure your property with specialising in overseas proeprties: http://www.intasure.com/?introducer=200480

Look forward to hearing from other home owners.

Find a good agent who takes a decent commission.  Marketing the property yourself you will be able to get a higher price per night, but it is a lot of work, involves a lot of time, expense and knowhow, and any benefits can be washed away when you discover your property is empty most of the time.  An agent knows the market, and already has the sales channels to get regular, reliable bookings.
